Father Shoots Son in Back of Head

When I first read this story I honestly believed I had heard it wrong.  I've heard stories about children killing parents, and as appalling as that would be, I believe this incident is even worse.  According to reports, Jamar Pinkney Jr, confessed to inappropriately touching his half sister (his father's daughter).  Jamar Jr.'s mother, Lazette Cherry, called his father, Jamar Sr and told him about the confession.  She felt that the incident could not be swept  under the rug.

Jamar Sr., proceeded to come over to his son's home where he fought him, ordered him out of the house naked into a field (as neighbors watched) and then proceeded to shoot his son in the back of the head.  Neighbors reported that Jamar Sr. CALMLY walked back to his vehicle where he pulled off. He was charged with first degree murder.

I know its kind of early to be talking about fashion trends for the spring, but actually it's NOT!!! You can rest assured that as soon as the holidays are over, the retailers will have their mannequins adorned with the hottest trends for Spring 2010.

Designers are bringing splashes of "sunshine" to the runway for the Spring. Pairing a bold color with a basic piece will "freshen up" any look.  Yellow has made its mark on fashion and spring will further this trend with gleaming Aurora. Neutrals will always provide a dependable backbone to the brights of spring.

Vixen Health Tip: D's Kickboxing Queens

If you're a woman in the Richmond, VA area looking for an alternative to the traditional gym workout, check out D's Kickboxing Queens! Currently they meet every Sunday from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m @ The Vinings Apartments Clubhouse (5500 Vinings Drive Richmond, VA 23234). Here is Alicia's newest video....I'm still a little disappointed with Alicia (her affair with married music producer Swizz Beatz), but I'll reserve judgement for now :-).  The video is still undeniably stunning and the song is Amazing.  Lets just hope for Alicia's sake, she won't wind up sleeping with a broken heart behind Swizz!!
